The University actively promotes upward mobility and horizontal development opportunities for outstanding staff. For this reason, the University continued to organize the Professional Development and Enhancement Program for the Outstanding Administrative Staff this year. A group of 22 UM staff (including 15 awardees of Outstanding Administrative Staff Award 2017) joined the study program to visit Shanghai and Hangzhou from 11 to 15 June 2018. The delegation visited the government offices of Hangzhou Smart City Project, two campuses of Zhejiang University and a well-established public-funded University in Shanghai.
Led by the Office for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Affairs and the Foreign Affairs of the Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the CPPCC (Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference), the delegation visited the Hangzhou City Information Storage, the Hangzhou City Digital Urban Management System, the Alibaba Group, the Dream Town, the West Bridge Historical District and the Grand Canal Museum. The Hangzhou Public Security Bureau and the Hangzhou City Data Resources Administration introduced the concept and operation process of the Hangzhou City Information Storage and the Hangzhou Digital Management System. The Alibaba Group explained the culture of Alibaba and the global business development plan for domestic enterprises. Our delegation learned about the transformation process of the most favorable national internet entrepreneurship and concentration of innovative capital – the Dream Town. They also gained in-depth knowledge of Hangzhou’s historical and cultural developments by visiting the West Bridge Historical District and the Grand Canal Museum.
Another highlight was the visit to two campuses of Zhejiang University, namely the Zijingang Campus and International Campus (Haining International Campus). Welcomed by Ms. Li Min, Director of Office of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs, the delegates learnt about the development, administration, research and academic structures, as well as the future planning aspects of Zijingang Campus. In addition, Administration Service Center, History Museum and Innovative Design Exhibition were introduced. At the International Campus, accompanied by Prof. He Lianzhen, Dean of International Campus, their delegates shared about the history and milestones, talents cultivation, exchanges and cooperation.
The final stop was East China Normal University in Shanghai, who shared to our delegation about their areas of curriculum and pedagogy, human resources, campus development and student life. A tour at the University’s History Museum, Numismatic Museum and Historical Heritage Museum were also organized.
Through these visits and bench-marking exercise, our delegation has broadened their horizons and enhanced their job-related skills. The program brought the delegates an in-depth understanding of the development of Universities in Mainland China that they believe would contribute to the development of UM in the near future.
大學積極為優秀的人員提高向上流動及橫向發展的機會。為此,一如往年,大學本年繼續為年度傑出行政人員獎得獎者舉辦專業發展提升計劃。共二十二名澳大員工(其中十五位為「2017年度傑出行政員工獎」得獎者)於2018年6月11日至15日赴杭州及上海進行學習交流。期間於杭州考察智慧城市計劃、了解杭州歷史及到訪浙江大學的兩所校區;其後亦於上海到訪一所歷史悠久的公立研究型大學。
杭州市政協港澳臺僑和外事委辦公室為代表團安排之探訪內容豐富充實,先帶領代表團考察杭州城市資料大腦、數位城管系統,再參觀亞里巴巴集團、夢想小鎮、橋西歷史街區及運河博物館。城市公安局及城市數據資源管理局分別介紹了城市大腦及數位城管系統的理念及其推進情況。亞里巴巴訪客接待中心代表展示了亞里文化及國內企業全球化的發展規劃,代表團更認識了作為全國互聯網創業首選地和創新資本集中地的夢想小鎮,並於橋西歷史街區及運河博物館深入了解杭州的歷史和文化發展。
除此之外,代表團亦到訪了浙江大學的兩所校區,包括紫金港校區及國際聯合學院(海寧國際校區)。浙江大學紫金港校區港澳台事務辦公室主任李敏及其團隊講解了校區的發展、行政、研究、學術事務以及未來規劃,並帶領代表團參觀了行政服務辦事大廳,校史館及科技創新設計產品展。浙江大學國際聯合學院(海寧國際校區)何蓮珍院長及其團隊則分享了校區之發展歷程、人才培養、合作交流等項目。
最後一站為上海華東師範大學。其團隊分享了大學的課程與教學、人力資源、校園發展及學園生活。代表團更參觀了校史館、古錢幣博物館及歷史文物博物館。
通過是次學習交流,行政人員團隊及得獎者們除了增廣見聞及提升工作技能外,他們亦定必獲益良多。深入了解內地高校發展情況後,相信他們將來能為大學的發展作出貢獻。
