To give a warm welcome to the new academic staff, the University of Macau (UM) held the “Welcome Reception and Orientation for New Academic Staff 2019/2020” on 2nd September 2019 in UM Banquet Hall (N1). Over 150 participants including Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans and Associate Deans, Heads of Departments, Heads and Directors and Deputy Heads of Independent Academic Units, Heads of Academic Support Units and Administrative Units, Heads of sub-units of Academic Support Units and Administrative Units, Directors of Research Centres and Institutes of Research, Faculty Secretaries, Functional Heads of Independent Academic Units and new academic staff attended the reception.

UM Rector Prof. Yonghua SONG greeted 52 newcomers with a welcome speech. Following an introduction of the leaders of UM, Rector Song also shared on “Introduction of University of Macau”, as well as academic affairs of the University of Macau.

During the orientation session, Vice Rector (Global Affairs) Prof. Rui MARTINS and Vice Rector (Research) Prof. Wei GE introduced the University’s strategies on global affairs and research.

澳門大學於2019年9月2日在澳門大學宴會廳（N1）舉辦了2019/2020學年之”教學人員迎新會”，熱烈歡迎新教學人員的加盟。當天超過150名參與者包括校長、副校長、院長及副院長、系主任、獨立學術單位主管及副主管、學術輔助部門和行政部門主管及附屬單位主管、研究單位主管、學院秘書、獨立學術單位事務主管以及新教學人員支持及參與。

會上，澳大校長宋永華教授首先代表大學歡迎一共52位新教學人員加入澳大家庭，並介紹多位領導人員。此外，校長作出了關於澳門大學和學術事務的主題分享。

其後，副校長（全球事務）馬許願教授和副校長（研究）葛偉教授分別講解澳大的全球事務及學術研究發展策略。
