In order to provide UM staff members with a more comprehensive and accurate understanding of the National Security Law, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organised in-house training course on national security on 9 June 2022.

Dr KONG Wa, senior instructor of the Faculty of Law, was invited to explain the necessity of implementing the National Security Law in the Macao SAR and about 60 staff members participated in the training. Dr KONG Wa shared the fundamentals of preserving national security and the composition of the national security system. He stressed the concept of “no country, no home”, and also emphasized that national sovereignty and territorial integrity were crucial for the political stability and economic development of the Macao SAR, and for the well-being of Macao residents.

The University hopes that through this training, staff will strengthen their patriotism and make contributions to preserving national security, social stability and harmony.

為讓大學教職員對國家安全法有更全面準確認識，行政部人力資源處於2022年6月9日舉辦“國家安全法與我”內部培訓課程。

澳門大學法學院高級導師江華博士獲邀向約六十名教職員介紹在澳推行國家安全法的必要性。江華博士分享維護國家安全的要義及國家安全體系之構成，讓員工認識有國才有家，國家主權獨立、領土完整，對維護澳門政治穩定、經濟發展、市民安居樂業起着關鍵的作用。

大學希望透過是次培訓增強員工家國情懷，弘揚愛國愛澳精神，為維護國家安全及社會安定和諧作出應有貢獻。

 

The University of Macau (UM) held the “The Long Service Award and Outstanding Administrative Staff Award Ceremony” on 17 May 2022 at the University Hall (N2) to show gratitude and to commend staff for their long-term contribution and outstanding performances.

This year, the University presented “Long Service Award” to 159 staff who have served the University for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years. The University also presented 18 “Outstanding Administrative Staff Award” and 1 “Most Creative Slogan Award” for the slogan “Never worry about computer problem, Call 8600 to get the solution”. Over 140 participants including Rector, Vice Rectors, Heads of Units and awardees attended the ceremony.

Rector Yonghua SONG delivered his warmest congratulations and gratitude to all the awardees. He hopes that all colleagues will continue to build an efficient working environment, to enhance teaching quality and to strive towards the goal of becoming a university of excellence that is the pride of Macao residents and recognised by academic communities both at home and abroad.

為向長期服務和傑出表現的教職員致謝並表揚他們的努力和貢獻，澳門大學於2022年5月17日在大學會堂(N2)舉行了「長期服務獎暨傑出行政人員獎頒獎典禮」。

今年澳大合共向159位服務滿十年、十五年、二十年、二十五年、三十年及三十五年的教職員頒發“長期服務獎”。同時亦頒發了18個“傑出行政人員獎”及1個“最具創意口號獎”，得奬口號為「IT問題唔怕多，8600快夾妥」。當天超過140名參與者，包括校長、副校長、多位部門主管及獲獎者。

校長宋永華向獲獎的所有員工表示祝賀和敬意，並衷心希望各位同事繼續營造一個高效的工作環境、輔助大學持續提高服務質素、努力把澳門大學發展成為一所澳門人驕傲、國內外學術界公認的卓越大學。

The University of Macau (UM) recently arranged for its students, faculty members, and staff members to visit a national security education exhibition co-organised by the Macao SAR government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao. Led by UM Rector Yonghua Song, the UM members learned more about the development of the national security system from various perspectives.

澳門大學組織學生和教職員參觀由澳門特別行政區政府與中央人民政府駐澳門特別行政區聯絡辦公室合辦的“全民國家安全教育展”，在校長宋永華的率領下多角度認識國家安全體系建設的發展。

 

 

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized two in-house training courses, namely “Introduction to Constitutional Law and Basic Law” and “Chinese Language and Classics”, on 10 November and 12 November 2021 respectively.

Prof. LOK Wai Kin, Director of Centre for Constitutional Law and Basic Law Studies in the Faculty of Law (FLL), introduced the objectives of enactment and enforcement of the Constitutional Law, the core principles underlying the Constitutional Law and the Basic Law, as well as the relationship between the Basic Law and “One Country, Two Systems” during the course “Introduction to Constitutional Law and Basic Law”. Around 100 staff members participated.

Prof. ZHU Shoutong, Head of Department of Chinese Language and Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), shared the merits, characteristics, profoundness and complexity of Chinese language, the relationship between Chinese language and Chinese culture, as well as the authenticity of Chinese classics during the course “Chinese Language and Classics”. Over 80 staff members participated.

The University hopes that these training courses can enhance staff members’ national knowledge, arouse their interest in Chinese language and culture, promoting patriotism and strengthening their national pride.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處分別於2021年11月10日和11月12日舉辦了“憲法與基本法導論”及“認識漢語文化及國學經典”內部培訓課程。

澳門大學法學院憲法與基本法研究中心主任駱偉建教授在“憲法與基本法導論”課程中，介紹了制定憲法和實施憲法的目標、憲法與基本法的核心原則，以及基本法與“一國兩制”的關係。共約100名員工參與此課程。

澳門大學人文學院中國語言文學系主任朱壽桐教授在“認識漢語文化及國學經典”課程中，分享了漢語文化的優勢、特性、博大精深與難度係數，漢語文化與中華文化的關係，以及國學經典的原真性。共80多名員工參與此課程。

大學希望透過這兩個培訓課程加強員工對國家的認識，提高員工對漢語文化及中華文化的興趣，弘揚愛國愛澳精神，並增強員工的民族自豪感及家國情懷。
