In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized an in-house training course on “The Economic Relationship between Mainland China and Macao” on 6 June 2022.

Prof. LEI Chun Kwok, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), introduced the current economic situation, linkage and cooperation of the Macao SAR and Mainland China. Over 110 staff members attended the training.

The University hopes that these training courses can enhance staff members’ national knowledge, arouse their interest in the economic cooperation and linkage and understanding the development opportunities of the Macao SAR and Mainland China.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2022年6月6日舉辦了「內地與澳門的經濟關係」內部培訓課程。

澳門大學工商管理學院助理教授李振國教授在「內地與澳門的經濟關係」課程中，介紹了內地與澳門的經濟現況、聯繫及合作。共約110名員工參與此課程。

大學希望透過這個培訓課程加強員工對國家的認識，提高員工對內地與澳門經濟的認知，並加深員工對內地與澳門經濟發展機遇的了解。

　

　

　

UM Holds “The Long Service Award and Outstanding Administrative Staff Award Ceremony”
澳大舉辦「長期服務獎暨傑出行政人員獎頒獎典禮」

The University of Macau (UM) held the “The Long Service Award and Outstanding Administrative Staff Award Ceremony” on 17 May 2022 at the University Hall (N2) to show gratitude and to commend staff for their long-term contribution and outstanding performances.

This year, the University presented “Long Service Award” to 159 staff who have served the University for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years. The University also presented 18 “Outstanding Administrative Staff Award” and 1 “Most Creative Slogan Award” for the slogan “Never worry about computer problem, Call 8600 to get the solution”. Over 140 participants including Rector, Vice Rectors, Heads of Units and awardees attended the ceremony.

Rector Yonghua SONG delivered his warmest congratulations and gratitude to all the awardees. He hopes that all colleagues will continue to build an efficient working environment, to enhance teaching quality and to strive towards the goal of becoming a university of excellence that is the pride of Macao residents and recognised by academic communities both at home and abroad.

為向長期服務和傑出表現的教職員致謝並表揚他們的努力和貢獻，澳門大學於2022年5月17日在大學會堂(N2)舉行了「長期服務獎暨傑出行政人員獎頒獎典禮」。

今年澳大合共向159位服務滿十年、十五年、二十年、二十五年、三十年及三十五年的教職員頒發“長期服務獎”。同時亦頒發了18個“傑出行政人員獎”及1個“最具創意口號獎”，得奬口號為「IT問題唔怕多，8600快夾妥」。當天超過140名參與者，包括校長、副校長、多位部門主管及獲獎者。

UM holds In-house Staff Training on “Introduction to Constitutional Law and Basic Law”
澳大為員工舉辦「憲法與基本法導論」培訓課程

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized an in-house training course “Introduction to Constitutional Law and Basic Law”at the Anthony Lau Building on 27 April 2022.

Prof. LOK Wai Kin, Director of Centre for Constitutional Law and Basic Law Studies in the Faculty of Law (FLL), introduced the objectives of enactment and enforcement of the Constitutional Law, the core principles underlying the Constitutional Law and the Basic Law, as well as the relationship between the Basic Law and “One Country, Two Systems” during the course. Around 100 staff members participated.

The University hopes that this training course can enhance staff members’ national knowledge, arouse their interest in the Constitutional Law and Basic Law, promoting patriotism and strengthening their national pride.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2022年4月27日在劉少榮樓舉辦「憲法與基本法導論」內部培訓課程。

澳門大學法學院憲法與基本法研究中心主任駱偉建教授在課程中，介紹了制定憲法和實施憲法的目標、憲法與基本法的核心原則，以及基本法與“一國兩制”的關係。共約100名員工參與此課程。

UM members visit national security education exhibition
澳大師生職員參觀全民國家安全教育展

The University of Macau (UM) recently arranged for its students, faculty members, and staff members to visit a national security education exhibition co-organised by the Macao SAR government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao. Led by UM Rector Yonghua Song, the UM members learned more about the development of the national security system from various perspectives.

澳門大學組織學生和教職員參觀由澳門特別行政區政府與中央人民政府駐澳門特別行政區聯絡辦公室合辦的“全民國家安全教育展”，在校長宋永華的率領下多角度認識國家安全體系建設的發展。

　

　

　

　

 

 

UM holds In-house Staff Training on “Flags and Emblems of the People’s Republic of China and the Macao SAR”
澳大為員工舉辦《中國的國旗國徽及澳門特區的區旗區徽》培訓課程

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized an in-house training course on “Flags and Emblems of the People’s Republic of China and the Macao SAR” on 23 November 2021.

Dr. KONG Wa, Senior Instructor of the Faculty of Law (FLL), shared two precious documentary videos, and introduced the history, design, features and meanings of the flags and emblems of the People’s Republic of China and the Macao SAR, as well as their legal protection. Around 90 staff members attended the training.

The University hopes that this training can enhance staff members’ national knowledge, arouse their interest in the national and regional flags and emblems, promoting patriotism and strengthening their national pride.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2021年11月23日舉辦了“中國的國旗國徽及澳門特區的區旗區徽”內部培訓課程。

澳門大學法學院高級導師江華博士分享了兩段珍貴的紀錄片，並且介紹了中華人民共和國的國旗與國徽，以及澳門特別行政區的區旗與區徽的歷史緣起、設計、特徵、意義和相關法律保護。共約90名員工參與此課程。

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized two in-house training courses, namely “Introduction to Constitutional Law and Basic Law” and “Chinese Language and Classics”, on 10 November and 12 November 2021 respectively.

Prof. LOK Wai Kin, Director of Centre for Constitutional Law and Basic Law Studies in the Faculty of Law (FLL), introduced the objectives of enactment and enforcement of the Constitutional Law, the core principles underlying the Constitutional Law and the Basic Law, as well as the relationship between the Basic Law and “One Country, Two Systems” during the course “Introduction to Constitutional Law and Basic Law”. Around 100 staff members participated.

Prof. ZHU Shoutong, Head of Department of Chinese Language and Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), shared the merits, characteristics, profoundness and complexity of Chinese language, the relationship between Chinese language and Chinese culture, as well as the authenticity of Chinese classics during the course “Chinese Language and Classics”. Over 80 staff members participated.

The University hopes that these training courses can enhance staff members’ national knowledge, arouse their interest in Chinese language and culture, promoting patriotism and strengthening their national pride.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處分別於2021年11月10日和11月12日舉辦了“憲法與基本法導論”及“認識漢語文化及國學經典”內部培訓課程。

澳門大學法學院憲法與基本法研究中心主任駱偉建教授在“憲法與基本法導論”課程中，介紹了制定憲法和實施憲法的目標、憲法與基本法的核心原則，以及基本法與“一國兩制”的關係。共約100名員工參與此課程。

澳門大學人文學院中國語言文學系主任朱壽桐教授在“認識漢語文化及國學經典”課程中，分享了漢語文化的優勢、特性、博大精深與難度係數，漢語文化與中華文化的關係，以及國學經典的原真性。共80多名員工參與此課程。

大學希望透過這兩個培訓課程加強員工對國家的認識，提高員工對漢語文化及中華文化的興趣，弘揚愛國愛澳精神，並增強員工的民族自豪感及家國情懷。

UM holds the In-house Training Course for Staff Members on “Name, Chronicle, Capital and Anthem of the People’s Republic of China”
澳大為員工舉辦《中國的國號、紀年、國都與國歌》培訓課程

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of our country, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organised an in-house training course on “Name, Chronicle, Capital and Anthem of the People’s Republic of China” via zoom on 18 October 2021.

Dr. KONG Wa, senior instructor of the Faculty of Law, shared the history of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, including the decision of the national name, chronicle, capital and anthem with precious documentary videos. Over 190 staff members attended the training.

The University hopes that this training can enhance staff members’ knowledge in the history of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, promoting patriotism and strengthening their national pride.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2021年10月18日透過線上形式舉辦“中國的國號、紀年、國都與國歌”內部培訓課程。

澳門大學法學院高級導師江華博士分享了中國建國的歷史，包括國號、紀年、國都、國歌的決議，並播放了許多珍貴的歷史片段。共約一百九十名教職員參與此課程。

UM Holds Welcome Reception and Orientation for New Academic Staff 2021/2022
澳大舉辦 2021/2022教學人員迎新會

To give a warm welcome to the new academic staff, the University of Macau (UM) held the “Welcome Reception and Orientation for New Academic Staff 2021/2022” on 8 September 2021 in UM Guest House (N1). Over 50 participants including Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans, Heads/Directors of Independent Academic Units, Heads/Directors of Academic Support Units and new academic staff attended the reception.

UM Rector Prof. Yonghua SONG greeted 17 newcomers with a welcome speech. Following an introduction of the leaders of UM, Rector Song also shared on “State and Outlook of the University of Macau” to help the new staff in getting familiar with the University. Next, Vice Rectors and representatives introduced the academic affairs, global affairs, research development, student affairs and administrative services at UM.

澳門大學於2021年9月8日在澳門大學聚賢樓（N1）舉辦了2021/2022學年之”教學人員迎新會”，熱烈歡迎新教學人員的加盟。當天超過50名參與者包括校長、副校長、學院院長、獨立學術單位主管、學術輔助部門主管及新教學人員支持及參與。

UM Holds Online Seminar on “Clean Election”
澳大辦「廉潔選舉」線上講座

The University of Macau (UM) held an online seminar on “Clean Election” on 25 August 2021 (Wednesday), with two invited speakers from the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC), Mr. FONG Pak Ian, Consultant, and Ms. LEUNG Mei Meng, Senior Technician. The seminar received an overwhelming response, with a total of 287 staff members and 78 students participated.

During the seminar, speakers from CCAC presented important information on clean election, including the obligation of neutrality, the definition and relevant laws of bribery at elections, the responsibilities among civil servants, the obligation of declaration of legal persons or candidates, and the obligation of special cooperation. They also answered questions and clarified enquiries for the audience.

The University hopes that this online seminar can arouse the awareness of staff members and students in the importance of clean election, as well as their rights and obligations as voters.

澳門大學於2021年8月25日（星期三）舉辦了「廉潔選舉」線上講座，邀請了廉政公署顧問馮伯恩先生與高級技術員梁美明女士擔任主講。是次講座的反應熱烈，吸引了287名教職員及78名學生參與。

廉政公署講者於講座上向澳大教職員及學生介紹了關於廉潔選舉的重要資訊，包括中立義務、賄選的定義與相關法律、公務員的責任規定、法人／候選人的申報義務、特別合作義務等，並清晰地向聽眾解答了一系列相關提問。

大學希望透過是次講座，讓教職員及學生能更進一步意識到廉潔選舉的重要性，並且瞭解其作為選民的權利和義務。

　

　

　

　

UM holds In-house Staff Training on “Chinese Culture and Wisdom”
澳大為員工舉辦《中華文化與國學智慧》培訓課程

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the Chinese culture and wisdom, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organised an in-house training course on the above-mentioned topic at the Mr. and Mrs. Lau Chor Tak Lecture Theatre in the Anthony Lau Building on 16 July 2021. Prof. ZHU Shoutong of Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), who is also the Director of Research Centre for Humanities in South China and the Director of Centre for Chinese History and Culture, was invited to explain how wisdom was applied and expressed in the history and society nowadays. Over 140 staff members participated in the training.

By sharing numbers of myths, novels and historical events, Prof. ZHU explained “Wisdom and Kindness”, “Wisdom and Foolishness” and “Good Wisdom and Evil Wisdom” through the characters and incidents. Prof. ZHU then emphasized the importance of applying wisdom properly.

The University hopes that this training can arouse staff members’ interest in Chinese culture, enhance their understanding in Chinese wisdom and strengthen their patriotism.

為加深澳門大學教職員對我國之文化及智慧的認識，行政部人力資源處於2021年7月16日在澳大劉少榮樓劉佐德伉儷演講廳舉辦“中華文化與國學智慧”內部培訓課程，邀請了澳門大學人文學院南國人文研究中心主任及中國歷史文化中心主任朱壽桐教授，向超過一百四十名教職員講解智慧在歷史及現代中的運用及展現。

朱壽桐教授在課堂中向大家分享了不少神話、著作及歷史事件，透過當中的人和事帶出「智與仁的關係」、「智與愚的相對」及「善智與惡智」，並指出正當運用智慧的重要性。

大學希望透過是次培訓提高員工對中華文化的興趣，令大家對國學智慧有更多認識並增強員工的家國情懷。
