At the invitation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance for Purchasing, representatives from the Procurement Section of University of Macau’s Office of Administration attended the Alliance’s 2025 Annual Meeting on 5 December 2025. The event was co-organized by Shenzhen Exchange Group and Shenzhen University.

The meeting reviewed the Alliance’s key work and achievements over the past year, highlighting collaboration outcomes among higher education institutions across the region. The seminar featured several procurement experts from Chinese Mainland, who delivered presentations on topics including the application of AI technologies in public resource trading platforms, strategies for addressing common enquiries and disputes in government procurement, cutting edge practices and achievements in university procurement, and case studies in government procurement operations. Despite variations in laws, regulations, and administrative structures across the region, the cases and solutions shared by the experts offer valuable insights and serves as strong references for universities.

應粵港澳高校採購聯盟邀請，澳門大學行政部採購處代表於2025年12月5日出席由深圳交易集團及深圳大學共同承辦的「2025年粵港澳高校採購聯盟年會暨『匯聚粵港澳採購智慧，提升高校採購管理水平』專題研討會」。

會議回顧了粵港澳高校採購聯盟過去一年的重點工作及交流成果，並強調區域內高校在採購領域的合作成效。專題研討會邀請多位內地採購專家進行分享，內容涵蓋人工智能技術在公共資源交易平台的應用、政府採購中常見質疑與爭議的有效處理策略、高校採購的前沿實踐與成果，以及政府採購工作案例分析等。儘管各地法律法規及高校行政架構存在差異，專家分享的案例與解決方案對大學具有重要的參考價值。

　

　

　

　

“UM Family Fun Day – Autumn Grill” was held on 9 November 2025 (Sunday), with nearly 150 participants, including staff and their family members.

Under the nice warm weather, our colleagues and their families had a pleasant time at the barbecue, featured by the attractive and fun entertainment sessions, including face painting and balloon twisting. This array of activities brought a cheerful Sunday to the participants of all ages.

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized in-house training courses on “Development of New Industries in Macao Facilitated by the “1+4” Strategy of Moderate Economic Diversification”, “Patriotic Tradition of Chinese Poetry”, and “Introduction to China’s Administrative System” on 6 August, 26 and 30 September 2025 respectively. Over 290 colleagues attended the training courses.

Prof. LEI Chun Kwok, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), introduced the development of moderate economic diversification in Macao through statistical data illustration and policy highlights. He also explained the current goals related to moderate economic diversification as stated in the Policy Address for the Fiscal Year 2025, as well as some future opportunities and challenges. Nearly 90 colleagues attended the training.

Prof. WANG Sihao, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) interpreted the patriotic sentiments and the Eastern wisdom of “family-nation unity” embodied in over 15 selected excerpts from classical Chinese poetry, against the backdrop of the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to China. He also traced the evolution and core values of the patriotic tradition in Chinese cultural history. Nearly 90 colleagues attended the training.

Prof. JIANG Chaoyang, Professor of Faculty of Law (FLL) and Director of Centre for Constitutional Law and Basic Law Studies, introduced the basic concepts on China’s Administrative System such as the structure and main functions, as well as the core differences between state administrative organs and local organs. Over 110 colleagues attended the training.

The University hopes that these training courses can deepen staff members’ understanding on the development of moderate economic diversification in Macao, appreciate the patriotic tradition in Chinese poetry, and provide them with insight into the administrative system in China.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2025年8月6日、9月26日及30日分別舉辦了「“1+4”經濟適度多元對澳門新產業發展之推進」、「中國詩詞的愛國主義傳統」及「中國行政體制簡介」內部培訓課程。超過290名員工參與這些培訓。

工商管理學院副教授李振國透過統計數據說明和政策擇要，介紹了澳門經濟適度多元的發展。他亦闡述了2025年財政年度施政報告中與經濟適度多元相關的當前目標，以及未來的機遇與挑戰。近90名同事出席了是次培訓。

人文學院副教授王思豪結合澳門回歸25周年背景，解讀了超過15首經典詩詞選段中蘊含的愛國情懷與「家國同構」的東方智慧，並講解了愛國主義傳統在中華文化史上的發展脈絡與核心價值。近90名同事參與了此課程。

法學院教授及憲法與基本法研究中心主任蔣朝陽介紹中國行政體制的基本概念、架構、職能以及中央行政機關和地方行政機關的主要分別。超過110名員工參與此培訓。

大學希望透過上述培訓課程加深員工對澳門經濟適度多元發展的瞭解，領會中國詩詞中的愛國主義傳統，並讓他們更深入認識中國的行政體制。

In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized in-house training courses on “Ancient Chinese Civilization along the Belt and Road Initiative” and “Political Development of the Macao SAR” on 29 May and 18 June 2025 respectively. Over 210 colleagues attended the trainings.

Prof. WU Dongming, Assistant Professor of Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), introduced the formation of historical contexts of the land and maritime Silk Roads through archaeological sites, and discussed with the participants on the the importance of the cultural exchanges between ancient China and other civilizations along the Silk Road. Over 110 colleagues attended the training.

Dr. LAI Kuan Ju, Research Assistant Professor of Faculty of Law (FLL), introduced the political system of the SAR, its development and the amendments made to the constitutional laws and regulations of the SAR. He also explained the need of Basic Law and the changes made to the political system. 100 colleagues attended the training.

The University hopes that these training courses can deepen staff members’ understanding to the Chinese culture and its exchange between other civilizations, and provide them with insight into the political development of the Macao SAR and the principles on the construction of the political system.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2025年5月29日及6月18日分別舉辦了「一帶一路上的古代中國文明」及「澳門特區的政制發展」內部培訓課程。

人文學院助理教授吳冬明教授介紹了陸地及海上絲綢之路的歷史脈絡形成，並分享了古代中國於絲綢之路與其他文明的文化交流的重要性。超過110名員工參與此培訓。

法學院研究助理教授賴冠儒博士則介紹了澳門特區的政治體制及其發展、以及特區政制法規和法例的修改，同時也解釋了基本法的重要性和特區政治體制的改動。共100名員工參與此培訓。

大學希望透過上述培訓課程加深員工對中國文明以及與其他文明之間交流的認識，並讓他們更深入認識澳門特區政治體制的發展以及其原則建構。

The University of Macau (UM) held the Long Service Award and Outstanding Administrative Staff Award Ceremony 2024 to honor the dedication and contributions of its faculty and staff. A total of 198 faculty and staff members were awarded Long Service Awards for reaching the milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service. The Outstanding Administrative Staff Award and the Most Creative Slogan Award were also presented at the ceremony.

Prof. Michael Hui, vice rector of UM and representative of the rector, thanked the awardees for their loyalty and dedication. He noted that 2024 is a significant year for UM’s development, as it not only marks the 10th anniversary of the university’s relocation, but also the official commencement of the construction of the UM campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, representing a historic opportunity for development. Hui also expressed hope that in 2025, UM will further enhance its quality of education and research and strive to become a recognized university of excellence.

澳門大學舉行2024年度“長期服務獎暨傑出行政人員獎頒獎典禮”，以表彰教職員的努力及貢獻。典禮上，共有198位分別服務滿10、15、20、25、30及35年的員工獲授予“長期服務獎”，同場還頒發了“傑出行政人員獎”及“最具創意口號獎”。

澳大校長代表、副校長許敬文教授感謝獲獎教職員一直以來的忠誠與奉獻。他提及2024年是澳大發展史上別具意義的一年，不僅是澳大遷校10周年，也是澳大橫琴合作區校區的建設工程正式啟動之年，造就了難得的歷史性發展機遇。期望2025年，澳大將繼續牢記使命，勇敢擔當，進一步提升教育與科研質量，朝著卓越大學的目標不斷邁進。
